Martin was born on Valentine’s Day in 1987 to parents Cleveland and Maxine Martin. He attended theWatermountAll-AgeSchooland laterSt.Jago High School. It was during his high school years that his love for the dramatic arts and sports developed. An active student, Martin participated in various sporting activities including football as well as the school’s drama festival, where he was given an award for best actor in 2003 – which was his graduating year. That same year Martin was named Mr. St. Jago High and he also earned a prize for being Most Talented. A recipient of numerous awards for singing throughout his high school years, Christopher also won a gold medal in the Jamaica National Skills Competition in 2005

He has worked with a number of top producers in the reggae/dancehall arena includingRobert Livingston (Big Yard), Arif Cooper, Shane Brown and Christopher Birch and has performed at numerous events acrossJamaica and internationally. One of his major accomplishments in 2006 was signing a contract with Blue Cross of Jamaica to be a company spokesperson. A Business Management and Accounting major at theUniversity ofTechnology inJamaica, Martin says his biggest inspiration came from his parents.
